Team Member Spotlight

Emily DeLucas earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University San Marcos, where she developed a strong interest in law, government, and policymaking. During her time there, she explored various aspects of political theory and public administration, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in the legal field.

In May 2025, she completed her Paralegal Certificate from Southwestern Community College. The program provided her with practical, hands-on training in legal research, writing, case management, and litigation support. This sparked a deeper interest in civil litigation.

Since entering the legal field, Emily has gained experience in several areas, including Collections, Subrogation, Personal Injury, and Construction Litigation. She has supported attorneys with case preparation, client communication, and legal documentation, helping to manage cases from inception to resolution. Each area has provided valuable insight into the legal process and has allowed development of strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Emily is a proud San Diego native who has always appreciated the vibrant community and active lifestyle the city offers. Outside of work, she stays active through CrossFit, strength training, and hiking. She also enjoys spending time in the kitchen, where baking and cooking serve as both creative outlets and a way to unwind.
