Kerissa K. Pierre
Kerissa K. Pierre is an attorney whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, financial services disputes, and regulatory matters. She represents businesses and individuals in contract disputes involving payment processing, financial institutions, and emerging technology platforms.
Kerissa has experience handling matters involving merchant-acquirer relationships, payment card networks, chargeback disputes, account terminations, and MATCH list reporting. Her work regularly involves analysis of card-network rules, banking regulations, and the contractual frameworks governing payment processing relationships. She has initiated litigation against major payment processors, acquiring banks, and financial institutions in both state and federal courts.
In addition to her commercial practice, Kerissa has experience in estate planning and general civil litigation, including depositions, motion practice, and discovery disputes. She is known for her strategic approach, attention to procedural detail, and ability to manage matters from pre-suit investigation through resolution.
Kerissa is admitted to practice law in Florida and has handled matters across multiple jurisdictions. She earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University. In her spare time, Kerissa enjoys baking, decorating, and spending time with her husband and family.
