Bryce Van De Moere

Associate Attorney

sends letter

Bryce has been a litigator for the entirety of his legal career, handling cases from intake to resolution in such areas as insurance defense and premises liability, spending that time representing both the defendant and plaintiff,  so his ability to see both sides of a case has served him well. Bryce now brings that experience to the area of complex civil litigation, representing every player in the electronic payments sphere.

But what gets Bryce’s juices flowing is the development of his MATCH List practice. The “Member Assist to Control High Risk” or “MATCH” List, is the means by which financial institutions are regularly revoking a merchant’s ability to accept credit cards, a virtual death sentence in the post-Covid era, where cash and checks are no longer the dominant currency. If you want to survive, you have to be able to accept credit cards for payment, and merchants are regularly being deprived of this “right” without due process of law or even notice.

Bryce is sympathetic to the plight of these merchants and relishes the opportunity to hold these financial institutions feet to the fire and force them to justify their actions. Bryce lives in San Diego with his wife Allison, with whom he raises their six children. He enjoys golf, surfing, and the occasional hike, although don’t tell his wife because she absolutely loathes hiking.
